In the modern world, time seems to move faster and faster, and fashions and trends seem to constantly win over previous tradition and customs. It is increasingly difficult to find sports organizations that can maintain a balance between tradition and knowing how to adapt to current times.
For this reason, at Brainstorming Studio, we have the honor of being able to announce our visit to the headquarters of a grassroots football benchmark in world football: Athletic de Bilbao.
The football culture that is generated in Lezama is a reference for other clubs and an example of a methodology to follow in grassroots football. Since the particularity of only playing with Basque players makes them a club with a “small garden” as a quarry, which they must take care of in order to continue maintaining the club’s past and present successes on the national and European football scene.
Brainstorming Studio has provided support to the Efficientfootball school in organizing the editorial content of the courses, recording and editing the content to be able to offer its students practical content from professionals who know how elite football works by providing systems and tips to apply to your teams, regardless of the level.
It has been a pleasure to travel throughout Spain and be able to meet and talk with professionals from clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, FC Valencia or Villareal, among many others. But without a doubt, having the possibility of entering the Athletic de Bilbao facilities is a superior experience.
Led by co-founder Matías Rodríguez, the Efficientfootball school visits Lezama for interviews with the club’s methodological director Andoni Bombin and the deputy assistant to the board of directors Andoni Ayarza, where we will have the opportunity to hear first-hand, topics related to the structure of the club. club, ethics and values in grassroots soccer and many tips on sports methodology for grassroots soccer trainers.
